AlUla Basketball Club crowned a remarkable season by winning the Saudi Federation Cup, defeating Al-Nassr 89–82 in a thrilling final that confirmed their dominance this year. Led by Lebanese coach Ezzat Ismail and powered by standout star Wael Arakji, the team delivered a complete performance from start to finish. AlUla set the tone early, storming to a 31–14 lead in the first quarter and controlling the game’s rhythm.

Despite Al-Nassr’s comeback attempt, narrowing the gap to 47–40 by halftime, AlUla maintained their composure, extending their lead again in the third quarter (70–60) before sealing the victory with authority in the closing moments.

This title was no coincidence, but the culmination of an exceptional season. AlUla had already secured the league title for the first time in its history, completing a historic double in the 2025–2026 season. Arakji was the undisputed star of the night, delivering a sensational performance with 30 points, 7 assists, and 6 steals, once again proving his ability to change the game wherever he plays.

Alongside him, a strong supporting cast including Thon Maker, Al-Suwailm, and Gibson showcased a team built on discipline, sacrifice, and belief.

As Arakji had previously said,

This wasn’t luck… it was the result of hard work and collective effort. We made history, and this is only the beginning.

With another trophy now added to their cabinet, those words have become reality.
