Lebanon once thrived as a regional silk hub with nearly 200 factories, empowering women and transforming the economy. Though the industry collapsed, its legacy lives on in restored sites, museums, and repurposed factories.

The sculptor does not greet one with words. He just gestured toward the sculpture in front of him and placed his hand on the grain as if introducing us to an old friend.
